ECO – ECOLOGICAL

We love our nature and so great attention was paid to the sustainability of nature when the lodge was built. We are located directly in the natural area in Nepal. The newly contracted Snow Lion Eco Lodge in Khiraule is an important contribution to the
Eco Tourism in the area of the Makalu- Barun- Nationalpark in the lower Solukhumbu region of eastern Nepal. A biogas plantation is installed for cooking and the hot water for showers is generated via solar energy. The food served is seasonal and organic and is grown in the region. The drinking water comes from the filter system. The Lodge creates local jobs and income and is a micro business Modell for the local community and we care for the waste management. A stay at the Snow Lion Eco Lodge is a unique experience.

TRANSPORTATION

Porters: We will provide you with as many porters as you need for your hikes or expeditions.

Jeeps: We order jeeps for you for your arrival, departure or onward journey throughout Nepal.

Helicopter flights: For more comfort or in the event of an unwanted emergency, we can organize helicopter flights. In case of emergency, we can provide you with satellite phones.

MEDITATION

In our beautiful little village you will find peace and relaxation at any time. Far away from the fast modern world. The atmosphere in the mountains and nature of Khiraule lets you slide into deep meditation and let you easly connect deeply with your inner self. Next to the Lodge is a peaceful Stupa and the Buddhist monastery keeps guard over the Sherpa houses and fields. In the morning you can catch a glimpse of the distant snow covered peaks. We offer you meditation practics, spiritual retreats and different kinds of group meditations.

YOGA

Being so deep in nature your body is directly more connected to nature. You can feel it as soon as you arrive, when the first tensions fall away. You notice how you become more and more rooted and in harmony with yourself and nature. Just by being.
